A picture is worth a thousand words

The latest Goal Achiever exercise was to take a picture of our goal and carry it with us.  I’ve put it as the background on my phone so I can be sure I will see it numerous times each day.  Quite simply, my picture is that of an on-line payment acceptance tool that is depositing money into my bank account bi-weekly and is requiring little to no work on my part.  This MUST be truly passive income (I have enough jobs already) and require no more than 30 minutes a day on my part.  This is NOT my A-1 Goal.  It is only a very small stepping stone to reach it.  But as I’ve found out in other businesses that I own…once you get the ball rolling and the systems/processes defined and in place you can expect a waterfall of opportunities to open up.  Because I know this, I don’t feel concerned with taking what is seemingly a small first step.  Things will speed up exponentially once this first mark is reached.  As I wrote last time, I’m somewhat impatient and like to see and take action so I’m going to break the A-1 Goal into logical steps.  I want to have this initial step completed by May 31, 2009.

Something to shoot for!

$1,500 of recurring, monthly passive income by 5/31/09. Something to shoot for!

I believe that this very likely will happen (there is no reason why it can’t if I put my mind to it) and this picture will serve as a good reminder and motivational tool for what I need to get in place by May 31st.  Stay tuned!

  1. Jason: Just checking to see what ever came of your May goal from Goal Achiever. I haven’t seen you for so long – would be great to catch up!

  2. Hey Jodee – I just added a post that will answer your question. Yes, we absolutely need to catch up soon!
